The average salary expectations are: £55,000 - £80,000. 

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO BECOME A THREAT INTELLIGENCE MANAGER?

Those with prior experience as a Senior Threat Intelligence Manager will be a perfect-fit for this managerial position. 

Soft skills required

• Strategic and operational experience

• Knowledge of military intelligence cycle 

• Interpersonal communication skills

• Strong planning skills 

Hard skills required

• CREST Registered Threat Intel Analyst or similar

• Knowledge of adversarial cyber actors, including tactics, techniques, and procedures, and the adversary lifecycle or other threat model.

• Experience in evaluating host and network forensic reports of electronic media, packet capture, log data analysis, malware triage, and network devices in support of intrusion analysis, enterprise information security operations, or intelligence operations.

• Experience in working with threat modelling systems.

• Knowledge and experience utilising open source tools for analysis.

Additional Qualifications:

• Masters or other professional degree preferred or relevant military experience in lieu

• Malware/security experience 

• Experience working in an investigative or incident response environment.

• Program management or business experience.

• Must be able to forge and maintain relationships
