WHAT DOES A NETWORK SECURITY MANAGER DO? 

The responsibilities vary depending on the size of an organisation but in general, a Network Security Manager manages a team protecting a computer network by troubleshooting issues, monitoring and responding to potential threats, and provision of advice to users.

HOW MUCH DOES A NETWORK SECURITY MANAGER MAKE IN THE UK?

The average salary expectations are: £45,000 - £65,000

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO BECOME A NETWORK SECURITY MANAGER? 

Who should become a Network Security Manager? Those with interest or experience in IT networks or systems looking to move into the security field. Those without an IT background should start at NSE levels 1 - 3, while those with military or commercial IT & Comms experience should begin at Level 4 (or higher), aiming to get to Network Security Expert at Level 7.
