The Royal British Legion will be hosting a free employment workshop this week, specifically catering for veterans and
service leavers.

Taking place at TRBL’s Southampton offices, the workshop is open to all UK Veterans, irrespective of time served or age, and is also open to recent and ‘soon to be’ service leavers.

The VET Workshop covers a range of topics, including:

·         CV’s and applications
·         Transferrable job skills
·         Translating military into civilian
·         Job searching

            And much more.

The V.E.T. Workshop offers an opportunity to meet with fellow veterans, to network and to share experiences, as well as to learn from the National Careers Service experts who will be leading the day. The event also offers an opportunity to discuss barriers, and to gain input and support with your specific challenges, with the content being designed and delivered by a Royal Navy veteran, now working for the NCS.
