It can feel overwhelming as you begin your journey into civvy street, with so many questions and what feels like mountains of decisions to make. But being prepared - and as early as you can, is the key to making the transition go as smoothly as possible. One of the ways to do this is to utilise the MoD’s Enhanced Learning Credit Scheme to get qualifications under your belt.

Providing you meet the eligibility criteria, Serving personnel and Service leavers, can claim assistance with higher level learning. This includes GCSE, A-level and above in up to three separate financial years. Information on accessing Early Learning Credits is something we get asked a lot about at SaluteMyJob so here we have answered some common FAQs and signposted you to the experts.
