A veteran friendly employer is seeking a former Service man or woman to take on the role of Network Engineer. The successful applicant will support the Security Business Unit by being the prime source for technical ICT systems engineering and expertise.
Our client is a multinational corporation, specialising in managing complex assets and infrastructure. Although the company has civil contracts, its main business is with public bodies, particularly the MoD.
Providing technical support to Project and Bid Managers on large multi-disciplined projects or the technical and task management of small projects
Planning and delivery of projects and work packages from conception to completion, to agreed budget, timescale and quality objectives.
Design, procurement, management and supervision of the implementation of ICT systems.
Control of interfacing and the integration of diverse supplier software and hardware solutions.
Designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software
Delivery of cost estimates in order to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
Provision of critical technical expertise in the ICT discipline and associated fields.
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers.
To be able to communicate technically with external professionals on an equal standing, to give advice and to seek future opportunities.
To provide operational support and training to meet the business need.
