On Wednesday 9th December, 2015, Business In The Community kindly invited SaluteMyJob and 24 other social enterprises supported by arc, to showcase our veteran focussed services to 450 leaders and future leaders from across The Prince’s Responsible Business Network.
It was a great success, with many employers and interested business leaders coming up to see what SaluteMyJob were all about. At 10.30, HRH Prince of Wales arrived to show his commitment to his Responsible Business Network. Once the members finished their Annual General Meeting, the Prince came around to visit SaluteMyJob and other social enterprises. HRH showed a significant interest in what we do, helping ex-Service men and women into employment. And more importantly he recognised how we differ from ex-military recruitment agencies and appreciated what we do and how SaluteMyJob are here to improve the military transition and decrease veteran unemployment.
Thanks to BITC for hosting such a wonderful event and to everyone that came to see us and we look forward to working closer with you all in the new year.
