Phone company gives Service leavers a chance to forge new careers

A MOBILE phone company is giving Armed Forces veterans a unique opportunity to forge new careers in civvy street.

Square One, based in Bristol, is setting up a second company, F-Network Ltd and it will be staffed by former military personnel.

The venture is being backed by charity Soldier On!. Adrian Stalley, managing director of this new venture, told The Bristol Post:  “F-Net will be staffed by Armed Forces veterans, some of whom may have been injured in combat and left unable to continue in the military or have been medically retired from service.

“The philosophy of this social business will be to offer successful careers to veterans as they move back into civilian life.

“This is an essential value if we are to maximise the contributions back to these relevant good causes, the benefits of which these staff will understand better than anyone."

They are initially looking to employ 20 people within the F-Net business from new offices in Bradley Stoke.
