SaluteMyJob, IBM and the Corsham Institute are proud to announce a 100% pass rate for their sixth and final i2 course of the year - with 15 more veterans now qualified as data analysts.
SaluteMyJob, IBM's Corporate Citizenship Team and the Corsham Institute have worked together to develop UK and US variants of a programme to train and certify ex-military jobseekers as data analysts on IBM's i2 Analyst Notebook tool.
Since 2015, there have been six i2 courses - all of which received great feedback and a 100% pass rate. Individuals who attended the free, five-day course in October, have praised the course leaders and said they would highly recommend the course to others.
Martin Addison-Smith said: “There are 101 training companies in the market trying to get you to part with money rather than having a genuine desire to help people, to the point where I am reluctant to sign up to anything. This partnership between IBM, SaluteMyJob and the Corsham Institute is absolutely the support that resettlers and veterans should get.”
Adam Jones agreed, he commented: “I hope that others will be able to benefit from an ongoing collaboration between Corsham Institute, IBM and SaluteMyJob. Having an additional certified skill to put on my CV and being in a learning environment has had a positive impact on my resettlement. I travelled back from Italy to complete the course and I'm pleased I did - would recommend to others.”
Individuals who have successfully passed the course have been accredited by IBM as a certified i2 Analyst. This qualification will assist candidates looking for employment as data analysts, especially with organisations who use IBM's i2 Analyst Notebook product. If any employers are interested in hiring these newly qualified students or are interested in speaking at our next course, please get in touch.
The next course will be held in March 2017 at the Corsham Institute’s facilities in Wiltshire. You can apply here: http://bit.ly/2eoDqwI.
