Senior Account Manager

Location: Luton for first 6 months
Salary: £25-30,000 (OTE £50-60,000)

Role Summary

In this role you will identify business opportunities by developing new prospects and interacting with some existing customers in order to increase interest and generate a significant pipeline of business. You will be supported by an Internal Tele-Sales Team of three and a dedicated technical resource. The business unit will target:

  • End User Customers
  • Reseller Channels, maximising the resellers’ relationships.

They are adopters of innovative, new to EMEA market, security technologies and along with this they have been part of the product creations SOCAutomation and CyberKombat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build sales pipeline via your own outbound calling, planning telesales campaigns with the marketing team and Telesales Manager.
  • Qualify all sales leads, allocate as appropriate, and drive leads through the sales process by initiating where possible face-to-face appointments.
  • Consistently log and record each-and-every worthwhile outreach made, in Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting can be produced by the Sales Management team.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to understand in depth the focused product area you are leading, and to communicate the clients value proposition to prospects, re sellers and internal staff

  • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff. 

  • Experience in lead nurturing, lead generation, and appointment setting

  • An understanding of the sales cycle, with the potential to run deals from start to close

  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous and motivated, and must work well individually or as a member of a team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems

  • Highly organised and attentive to detail 

  • Self-starter with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment

  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Evidence of meeting and exceeding sales targets
