Tadcaster – PM with weekend working

Coventry - Shifts are Sun to Thurs PM – start times are usually around 1600-2000 hrs

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct full inspection of vehicles.

  • Fuelling vehicles.

  • Safe and efficient handling of vehicle, including the optimisation of fuel usage, cleanliness of vehicle.

  • Presenting vehicles for loading when required, that are in a compliant and road worthy condition.

  • Ensuring load security and stability, adequately restraining loads in line with processes and procedures.

  • Responsible for the security of the vehicle & load at all times.

  • Ensure that all delivery procedures are followed in line with company and customer procedures.

  • Ensure all company documentation and equipment is returned to the transport office/depot daily.

Key Requirements

  • Current LGV licence.

  • The client is also looking for ex-military personnel without the qualifications or experience as they will train through their in-house training programme.

  • Clean Driving Licence.

  • Knowledge of the legal requirements applicable European Working Directive and Road Transport Directive.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to use initiative.
