Salary : £40,000 with annual performance bonus
Our client is looking for an ex-military person who is an independent thinker, with experience of translating strategic direction into operational reality, to be - in effect - Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive of a Group of recruitment companies. The successful candidate would support and assist the CEO in order to ensure timely delivery of special key projects and Business As Usual (BAU) performance projects.
Our client is one of the UK’s longest established recruitment companies specialising in the build environment. The Group also has companies specialising in the public, charity and not-for-profit sectors.
To work on behalf of the CEO and the Group’s Senior Leadership Team to support a wide range of projects on time and to expected standards.
Ensuring all projects have clear objectives and specific timeframes, and are coordinated across the Group.
Managing and implementing systems and processes in keeping with CEO and Group objectives.
In agreement with CEO, understanding, planning, organising and implementing activities on a short, medium and long term basis at both strategic and operational levels.
Running project plans for Special Projects such as (but not limited to) :-
- Joint ventures/acquisitions
- Revision of staff induction
- Brand promotion
- Business Development
Running project plans for BAU. Including (but not limited to) :-
- Productivity analysis to identify trends and issues
- Business rules implementation and review
- Facility related projects
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI) memos, reporting and measurement
