Virtually everyone who visits, lives or works in London will use one of Transport for London’s services and every one of those journeys matters to us. We are here to keep London working and growing, and to make life in the Capital better.
But a rapidly growing population means achieving this goal is more challenging than ever. Currently, 8.4 million people live in the Capital. This is expected to become 10 million in the 2030s. We must carry on supporting this growth if London's success is to continue.
We currently have a skills gap in Service Control and recognise the skills that ex-Military leavers bring, and believe that they could be a good match for our roles which is why we want to target them for our Service Controller Level 2 vacancies. Most Control Centres are fully accessible and reasonable adjustments can be made therefore we would welcome the wounded, injured and sick to attend. We hope that attendees will be interested in applying for our roles and can also consider candidates who have not left the Military yet as we can stagger the intake.
The day will consist of two events, one in the morning starting at 09:15, and the other in the afternoon starting at 13:45. You do not need to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions, and are each limited to only 14 candidates.
