St. James’s Place, through the St. James’s Place Academy , believes that changing career to enter wealth management and build your own business might be a very daunting thought, especially after a career in the Armed Forces.
This event gives guests the opportunity to hear firsthand how individuals have made the transition from being employed to starting a self-employed career, what it is like to be a Wealth Manager including what a Wealth Manager does, and how you can train to do this with the St. James’s Place Academy.
Guests will learn about the support that is offered to all their Academy students, as well have an opportunity to ask questions of their guest speakers.
St James’s Place Academy Programme
The St James’s Place Academy is a 2 year career transition programme which will qualify you as St. James’s Place financial adviser.
The first six months of the programme is the Foundation Stage and is classroom based. During this time, you will acquire professional qualifications as well technical and client-facing skills. You will also develop a great bond with your cohort.
The second part of the programme follows with an 18 month period of developing your new skills and experience. A St. James’s Place Mentor will support you throughout this time and will demonstrate best practice, provide sales training, sales coaching and sales leadership.
Once you complete the programme and have qualified, you the set up your own business as a St. James’s Place Partner, or you may wish to decide to become an Adviser working for an established St. James’s Place Practice.
