Join The Officers' Association for their national Employment Services Symposium, at the Network Rail Training Centre in York on the 28th June 2017.
The Officers Association (OA), trusted experts in the transition space for Serving and former Officers, brings together key employers, industry experts and OA network contacts and supporters to provide a day of industry expertise and insight for those in transition.
The Symposium will provide the opportunity to hear from speakers from a variety of sectors, which will also be supplemented with smaller break-out sessions, hosted by specific industry experts, designed to deliver tailored insight and know-how about these specific industries. Already confirmed are speakers from Deloitte, FDM, KPMG, ISS Labour, Network Rail, the NHS and Turner & Townsend among others.
The break-out sessions will allow you to examine some common career paths such as project management, operations management or risk management, and also explore those you might not have considered such as non-clinical roles within the NHS or how to begin a career in the huge growth sector of IT as a non-technical manager.
Why you should attend
This one-day event will equip you with the latest advice and knowledge you need to approach your transition and/or continue your second career with confidence. You can engage with employers who are actively recruiting and hear directly from those who have successfully transitioned; understand their hurdles and how they overcame them.
