Kent Police - Career Transition

Our mission is to provide a first class service protecting and serving the people of Kent.

We have unique responsibilities when it comes to policing the county.  As well as dealing with crime and disorder our geographic location - between London and Europe - means we have a part to play in national and international policing.

We're the main gateway to Europe through three ports, the Channel Tunnel and a number of airfields and airports such as Lydd.  We also have one of the busiest road networks in the country which includes the M25, A2 and M20.  We want the very best staff and police officers to join us. Do you have a passion for public service, a desire to make a real difference, and pride in everything you do?  If so then we want to hear from you!

We are the only police force in the country to receive an outstanding grading from HMICFRS for 3 consecutive years by continuing to deliver a first class service.  We are totally committed to providing exceptional support and professional development to our workforce, both police officers and police staff.

Kent Police are excited to be providing an event specifically for CTP to assist in career transition to Kent Police. We offer a range of exciting entry and progression routes, and are now actively recruiting for vacancies across Kent.  Visit us and find out more about:

• Regular Entry

• Graduate Programme

• ‘Fast Track’ promotion

• Accelerated Detective pathway

• Police staff roles including vacancies in our Force Control Room

We provide a progressive salary, free gym facilities and a wide range of benefits and discounts through local recreation associations.

The event will be opened by Supt Mick Gardner who joined Kent Police army service. Supt Gardner will give an overview of his exciting career and opportunities that were open to him.  In addition, PC Scott Burn and PC Andy Davison who also transitioned from the military will be in attendance to share their stories and answer any questions.

The recruitment team will be delivering bespoke inputs for police officer and force control room vacancies.
