Openreach is offering Armed Forces Service leavers and Veterans the chance to visit our training facility at Yarnfield Park, Staffordshire, where you'll find more about Openreach, our role, potential career opportunities and some demonstrations of our engineering capability.
You’ll learn about our recruiting process, hear from Openreach Veterans their transition from Military to civilian life, have a tour of our world-class technical training facility, and see some demonstrations, including from BT’s Emergency Response Team.
Who Should Attend?
You must have already left the Armed Forces or be scheduled to leave in the Spring / early Summer of 2017. You may already be keen on joining Openreach and would like to find out more; or you’re unsure whether a role with Openreach is right for you; or, you may be wounded, injured or sick and would like to make a better informed decision about a future civilian career. There are only 16 places available, so we’re asking you to make a firm commitment to attend - please only register if you’re 100% certain you can make it.
At Openreach, we recognise the value that Armed Forces Veterans bring to our company, and we’re one of the largest employers of Armed Forces Veterans and Reservists in the UK; since 2011, over 2,200 Armed Forces people have joined us.
