BT is the UK’s leading recruiter of Armed Forces leavers and veterans and BT Security is one of the fastest-growing parts of their business. Security is in BT’s DNA - they own and manage one of the most complex and secure networks in the world, and provide their customers with the deepest, most complete range of off-the-shelf and bespoke security solutions available globally.
BT Security has about 2,500 staff across the globe, and are always on the lookout for new talent. They are currently searching for Service leavers and veterans who are looking to pursue a career in Cyber Security, particularly those with a secure comms background and who are cleared to a high Government standard.
The Cyber Security Careers Insight Day will take place in BT’s Swindon office. They will be running one morning and one afternoon session, each with 20 places available:
If you’re looking for roles now, or are available in the next few months, then the morning session (10:30-12:30) is best for you – it will cover 2-3 currently available roles in detail.
If you’re leaving the Armed Forces in the next 6-24 months, then the afternoon session (14:00-16:00) is best for you – it will cover generic roles and qualification requirements, so you can better focus your resettlement training.
If you can’t make the session that fits your situation, don’t worry - both sessions will give an overview of BT Security, an insight into their products and services, and a chance to meet ex-military staff who have joined the organisation. The sessions will be supported by BT’s HR and recruitment staff. If you can’t make the day, you can contact BT at email@example.com, or go direct to the BT Security Careers page.
You will receive a confirmation email informing you if you have secured a place, and joining instructions for the event will be sent nearer the time.
